About Whiz

You may not have heard of Whiz Club Limited even though you have attended numerous computer training or been in this field for some time. We do not place massive promotion campaign to market our courses. But if you attended computer courses in Hong Kong, then you might have come across courses organized and delivered by us. Or you might have collected our self-designed teaching materials as well. We believe that students can achieve the most value-added service through our  practical approach. We work with competent partners to synergies our knowledge and expertise so as to provide the best training to our students. As Marks & Spencer has expressed that the best media of promotion is by the mouth of the customers. We aim to provide quality training and we rely on our students’ loyalty to warrant our growth.

We have been working towards these goals for the last 19 years. We shall continue to achieve further.

Computer Room Configuration
We possessed 20 Apple IIe computer sets 19 years ago, and now we have no less  than 400 Pentium level computers in our more than 10 centers, located in different places in Hong Kong, Kowloon and N. T.

Full/Part Time Training Officers
We employed only 2 full time training officers 19 years ago. With the increasing number of courses and ever-upgrading standards, we have now more than 20 full time training officers, and over 250 part time tutors. Most of them are degree holders and qualified members of multi-discipline professional organizations.

Quarterly Computer Courses
We could only offer 30 classes in each quarter 19 years ago. Presently, we offer 500 classes each quarter. The combination of courses have been increased from no more than 10 to more than 400 now, including certificate and diploma level courses jointly organized with other professional and academic organizations.

Total Students Trained
In the past 19 years, we estimate that no less than 650,000 students would have attended our courses.

Our Business Partners
Our business partners cover a wide range from computer products suppliers, secondary and primary schools, universities and colleges, overseas universities, non-profit making organizations, government departments, professional bodies, private schools and public sector organizations.

Overseas Relations
Our club is recognized by the British Computer Society as its examination center. We can sponsor our students to participate its examinations of all levels.
Our Club is also authorized by the Association of Computer Professionals (UK) to offer courses leading to the completion of its examination and to serve as its overseas examination centre as well.
Our Club will soon offer computer courses jointly organized with the Asia International Open University of Macau.

Internet Service Provider  
We pioneered and organized seminars to extend the knowledge and awareness of  Internet application back in 1994. We successfully established an ISP, Spider Net Hong Kong Limited licensed in 1996. Services provided by Spider Net included personal dial-up, Internet homepage design, domain name registration, web-site building up, lease line for business, Intranet and Extranet, Internet Fax and E-commerce.

Computer Classroom Upgrading
To ensure quality training, we upgraded in1996 all the computer classrooms with Multimedia Broadcasting System & PC Guardian devices. This improves the communication between the training officers and the students. The devices are procured after our in-depth research and thorough examination. With the recognition of the equipment manufacturer, we have been appointed the sole agent of these products in Hong Kong
